I have always been fascinated by the claim of the smokiest ideologies to attain the enviable status of true science. This was once the case with the famous "science of history" that Marxists claimed to hold. The myth of a perfect society, finally organized by science, has faded, but we do not stop paying for the damage it has caused. Nevertheless, it is now back in service on the side of Silicon Valley in a different way, but not much more cheerful.
In a recent interview with Fox News, Elon Musk announced the creation of his artificial intelligence company called X.AI. Intended to compete with Google and Microsoft, it will be entirely dedicated to the search for Truth with a capital V. Its new AI will therefore bear the sweet name of "TruthGPT", its ultimate goal being "to finally understand the entire universe" (sic!) Just that!
