The warning could not be clearer. A father obviously paid in place of his son, during the night from Friday to Saturday, in an apartment in Créteil, we learned from concordant sources. Aged in his fifties, the victim was wounded in the leg by a gunshot, presumably from the 22 long rifle. Slightly injured, the victim was hospitalized.
The case starts during the evening with a doorbell ringing at his home, in the Georges-Braque alley. The man who spends the evening with his wife gets up, opens the door and finds himself facing a man in his twenties. The latter asks to see his son who is not there. The visitor leaves and the father of the family returns for drinks.
Around 23:30 p.m., new doorbell rings. The father gets up again, approaches the door he is about to open. At that moment, a detonation slams and a projectile passes through the door wounding the father of the family in a leg according to a first version. In the second, the victim would have had time to open the door before the shot. In any case, wounded in the leg the man collapses. The shooter fled immediately, not without forgetting a shell casing on the landing.

Quickly on the spot, the emergency services immediately notify the police as soon as they understand the nature of the injury. The victim, who was heavily intoxicated, was evacuated for treatment. Quickly, the investigators of the departmental section of the judicial police (SDPJ) of Val-de-Marne, were seized of the file by the prosecutor's office of Créteil. The technical and scientific police officers inspected the premises with a fine-toothed comb.
This "jambization" in police jargon is a clear and limpid way to send a message about a money debt, possibly related to drugs. The victim's son most certainly heard the message. Thus, a young man, just released from prison, was wounded by a gunshot in the legs in Vitry-sur-Seine, in August 2021. Here too, the victim, who had not been very vocal with the investigators, must have understood the content of the message.
