Wagner Force Chief: We have completed the takeover of Bakhmut

In a video he recorded against the backdrop of buildings in Bakhmut, Yevgeny Prigozhin says his forces have completed the capture of the town he abandoned for 224 days. "We took the city completely, house after house," Prigozhin said, holding a Russian flag and explosions in the background. Ukraine's deputy defense minister, Hanna Malyar, said the Ukrainian military still had "some industrial buildings" in the southwestern corner of Bakhmut, but acknowledged that the situation was "critical." It should be noted that from the north and especially south of Bakhmut, the Ukrainians managed in a series of surprise attacks to liberate about 31 square kilometers and begin flanking the city.

A turning point in the war? Ukraine is getting closer to supplying fighter jets from the West

As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky embarks on a global tour to bolster support for the country in its fight against the Russian invasion, he appears to be nearing an important achievement — according to a CNN report citing a senior administration official, US President Joe Biden told G7 heads of state that his country would support an effort to train Ukrainian pilots in advanced aircraft, including F-16s.

The training will take place only in Europe, where a coalition of countries is forming that are willing to supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets. Among the countries - the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Norway. Britain is also expected to be a partner in the effort, which will last several months. Beyond training, sending F-16s will require establishing infrastructure for their maintenance. Russia warned of the planned move, and its deputy foreign minister sent a threatening message to the West: "We see that Western countries are still sticking to the attempts to escalate the situation, they are taking huge risks."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky landed in Hiroshima on Saturday ahead of his participation in the G7 summit. He is expected to urge the leaders of the world's most powerful democracies to further tighten sanctions on Moscow and help his country fight the war. Zelensky arrived in Japan directly from Saudi Arabia, where he attended the Arab League summit in Jeddah.

The Ministry of Health is considering establishing a committee of inquiry: the Assuta fertilization affair

After a couple reported that their child - about three and a half years old - was found to be genetically incompatible with the father, the Health Ministry will hold a hearing tomorrow and is expected to appoint a committee of inquiry into the case. This may be the same committee that examined only eight months ago the malfunction that occurred in fertility treatments at Assuta Rishon LeZion.

The affair exploded on Thursday evening: a doctor reported that a couple who came to her for counseling due to a health problem of their child, born through IVF performed at Assuta Ramat Hahayal, performed a genetic test, and the results showed a genetic incompatibility with the father. According to one version, the parents repeated the test again, which showed the same finding of discrepancy.

Controversy in Poland over Noa Kirel's statement: "Lack of knowledge and education"

"To get 12 points from Poland after almost the entire Kyrell family was murdered in the Holocaust is a victory," the singer said, referring to the results of the competition. Over the past week, the statement, which touches on a particularly sensitive point for the Polish people, seemed to slip under the radar, but on Saturday politicians and newspapers in the country spoke out against it.

"The fact that many people in Israel see Poland as an accomplice in committing German crimes is usually the result of a lack of knowledge and incomplete education," the Polish deputy foreign minister tweeted, arguing, among other things, that the nature of the organized trips by Israeli youth in the country played a part in the misconception. "We are starting a long process that will certainly not yield results immediately - but at the same time I am confident that in the long run it will allow us to build good Polish-Israeli relations, based on truth and mutual understanding that both our peoples were victims of German crimes," he added.

Arab Report: Terrorist Organizations in Gaza Warn of More Assassinations

Al-Rai Al-Youm, a newspaper affiliated with the pro-Iranian axis, reported on Saturday, citing its sources, that the Palestinian terrorist organizations had received warnings from Arab elements about new Israeli plans.

According to the report, these plans could be carried out at any moment inside and outside the Gaza Strip, leading to a new escalation. This is despite the calm currently prevailing following Egypt's mediation of a ceasefire between Israel and Islamic Jihad. The sources told the newspaper that "the current state of quiet in the Gaza Strip is deceptive" and could flare up at any moment, since Israel will not hesitate to carry out assassinations of senior members of the terrorist organizations if it has the opportunity.
They also noted that the Arab states had sent warning messages to the terrorist organizations about "Israeli plans for assassination operations" in the next stage.
