A shocking affair in the north - new details: A woman in her forties, a resident of the north, complained to the police that there was a series of threats and blackmail against her by two minors known to her.

According to her complaint, the minors recently abused and extorted money from her, threatening her that if she complained to the police, they would know about it and harm her.

The two minors were brought before a judge in the Kiryat Shmona Magistrate's Court and their detention was extended for the third time until 31 May 05.

Attorney Fathi Fukra, who represents the second minor on behalf of the Public Defender's Office: "This is a minor with difficult life circumstances who is being treated by the welfare services. It is important to emphasize that he is not suspected of committing sexual offenses. He is cooperating with investigators and we expect the investigation to conclude as soon as possible."
