Several dozen Lebanese citizens protest Thursday in front of the border fence in the northern region to mark the 23rd anniversary of the IDF's withdrawal from Lebanon. The protesters wave Hezbollah and Iranian flags and start fires. Motorcycles belonging to the terrorist organization pass by from time to time. IDF forces are on the scene and monitoring developments.

Meanwhile, IDF forces identified earlier today a drone crossing from Lebanese territory into Israeli territory in the area of the settlement of Zar'it and shot it down. The drone was monitored by the air traffic control system throughout the incident.
The events come after the head of Military Intelligence warned earlier this week that "Nasrallah is close to making a mistake that could plunge the region into a major war." Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva added: "With Hassan Nasrallah, after the mistake he made in 2006, there is a beginning of an understanding that the equations can be stretched vis-à-vis the State of Israel. Unfortunately, the story of the terrorist at Megiddo Junction is not a one-time story."
