Highlights: Sebastián Villa received a non-effective sentence of two years and one month in prison in the trial initiated by his former partner Daniela Cortés for gender violence. The club has already announced that he will not play again. The Colombian arrived at the premises around 9 a.m. on Saturday, greeted his colleagues in a corridor and went up to the Council's office on the top floor of the main building. He was accompanied by one of his representatives, Gabriel "Chicho" Fortés, the same one who was in almost all the days of the trial.

The Colombian striker received a non-effective sentence of two years and one month in prison in the trial initiated by his former partner Daniela Cortés for gender violence and the club has already announced that he will not play again.

The day after receiving a two-year and one-month suspended prison sentence for "coercive threats with minor injuries in the context of gender violence," Sebastián Villa appeared at the Boca Training Center in Ezeiza. He didn't train with his teammates, he didn't change, and he had a long meeting with the Football Council. Will he leave for Colombia in the next few days?

The Colombian arrived at the premises around 9 a.m. on Saturday, greeted his colleagues in a corridor and went up to the Council's office on the top floor of the main building. He was accompanied by one of his representatives, Gabriel "Chicho" Fortés, the same one who was in almost all the days of the trial in the court number 2 of Lomas de Zamora.

Villa met for more than two hours and never changed to join the training, despite the fact that the decision of the Board of Directors prevents him from being summoned to participate in the matches but not to continue working, training with the team and collecting his salary, according to labor rights. Around 11.30 he began to wave to leave.

In the midst of the condemnation and presence of the Colombian striker, the atmosphere and mood in the premises logically was not that of another day. "There is no weather, there is no atmosphere of anything," a source told the newspaper Olé. "This hit, hit, for this team, whether you like it or not, it was fundamental. But what had to be done was done, all this is shameful," they added.

From now on, after the decision of Boca and this first day after the conviction, it remains to wait what will become of the sporting future of Villa, who went from being in the sights of important clubs in Europe and Brazil and integrating his selection to close many doors and be able to effectively end up behind bars with the other complaint that can go to oral trial.

For now, this Saturday was not changed and there are those who doubt that he will do it again in the coming days against the possibility of a license and the search for a loan exit to a club and league that accepts a player convicted of gender violence. There is also the possibility that he will go to Colombia, after requesting a permit from the Justice next week (it was not requested yet, but it is usually granted in these cases). In Boca it no longer takes place.
