An unusual indictment was filed today (Thursday) in court against six East Jerusalem residents who committed dozens of thefts at Super-Pharm branches. The cell worked together for years and committed dozens of thefts, some of which the squad members even attacked branch employees.
According to the indictment filed by the Central District Prosecution Unit, the cell, which consisted of five adults and one minor, would arrive at Super-Pharm branches throughout Israel, in various groups, and carry out the thefts using a repetitive method – one standing at the branch's front door holding it open, while the rest stealing and fleeing from the front door and not passing through the checkout line.

In some cases, "Paid" stickers were used, which would be affixed to the perfumes, thus neutralizing the alarm when passing the checkout line. The indictment includes 59 charges (84 cases) in the indictment of the adults and another six charges in the indictment filed against the minor.
In some of the incidents that began two years ago and continued until April of this year, the defendants attacked the branch employees and fled the scene.
