A few months after foreign tourists had to wait for hours in huge queues at Ben Gurion Airport at the entrance to Israel, in order to reach passport control, now the pictures are repeating themselves.
Lines of hundreds of people waiting along the entrance path to Israel can be seen at Ben Gurion Airport in recent days. Tourists are forced to wait a long time until arrival at passport control and entry into Israel, in what is recorded as the first experience they are forced to undergo after landing in Israel.
Fancy Abroad
This is a queue of tourists only, since Israelis use the vending machines when exiting the planes and it is the foreign tourists who have to stand in the long lines that can be seen in the pictures.
Recall that the long lines we are seeing at the moment are even before the peak of summer and even before the large numbers of tourists who are supposed to arrive in Israel. Last year, no real solution was found, and it is currently unclear whether the issue is close to being resolved now.
