The attack that took place on Tuesday near the community of Ali, in which four Israelis were murdered by terrorist fire, brought bereavement to the communities of Alisha and Yad Binyamin upon learning of the murder of Elisha Antman, 17, a high school student, Harel Massoud, a 21-year-old discharged soldier, and Ofer Fairman, 60, three of the four victims.

"It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved student Elisha Antman, who was murdered in today's attack," they said at the yeshiva where Elisha Antman studied.
"Elisha is a 1th grade student, Bnei Akiva Ali Yeshiva and a resident of Ali. We embrace the family and will update on the funeral date later. The yeshiva is currently open for students and staff to gather. The educational staff is at your right hand at this difficult time, you can turn to the Prime Ministers and consultants for any need. Harel Massoud, 21, was a resident of Yad Binyamin, the son of Gil and Yael.
"Dear Masoud family, there are no words to express their shock and pain," the Nahal Sorek community said of Harel's murder. The entire community grieves with you this terrible tragedy and shares in your unimaginable grief. From heaven you will be comforted. May his soul be bound in the bundle of life. Details of the funeral will be announced later."
Yakrat Friedman, an acquaintance of Harel Massoud, told TPS about the murdered man: "A golden, handsome and values-busting young man, so beloved who loves the Land of Israel and his people, just got out of combat service,
dreamed of settling this land and worked to realize his dream together with friends."
"A simple man, who sought innocence"
Council head Shai Reichner, who knows Harel and his family well and was the one who informed the parents of Harel's murder, said of him: "Harel was discharged from the army about two months ago. He was a good man, an altruist who only wanted to do good to those around him. A simple, non-possessive man who sought his innocence, simplicity, peace and quiet. He recently bought a flock of sheep and was happy with what he did."
About the veteran and beloved family in Yad Binyamin, he said: "They are very involved in the community. Volunteer a lot. Gil, Harel's father, volunteers in MDA and serves as an ambulance driver in the community. This is very unfortunate news. Harel was in the wrong place at the wrong time."
