Today's elections are considered extremely fateful, due to the composition of the Judicial Selection Committee, which has two seats for representatives of the Chamber.

As of 13:45 p.m., voter turnout was about 20.8% among all eligible voters, including President Michal Herzog's wife and Attorney General Gali-Baharav Miara, who also came to vote.

Voter turnout is considered relatively high, compared to about 28% who voted overall in the previous elections.
