A 14-year-old boy visiting Jaffa with his family was robbed at knifepoint by four boys his age. The four boys were arrested by the police on suspicion of robbery at knifepoint and will be charged with robbery in the coming days.

According to the details of the case, about ten days ago, the 14-year-old boy, a resident of East Jerusalem, came with his family for a walk in Jaffa. While he was riding an electric bicycle in the slope park near the promenade, four youths from Jaffa blocked his path. The boy asked them to move but the suspects refused, with two of them pulling out knives and threatening to rob the boy of his bicycle battery and keys, and fled.
As soon as the report was received, the youth division of the Jaffa station opened an investigation and managed to identify three of the suspects from the security videos, after which the officers went to their homes, located the suspects and arrested them for interrogation.
The boys were brought before a judge and their detention was periodically extended at the Bat Yam Juvenile Magistrate's Court. Upon completion of the investigation, a prosecutor's statement was filed today (Tuesday) regarding the intention to file an indictment against the suspects and a request for remand until the end of proceedings.
