Eid al-Adha will be celebrated next Wednesday, and two days later the school year will end – and masses of students will go on vacation. The authority recommends arriving at the crossing during the less busy hours of the day, which are 12:00-06:00, and purchasing tolls in advance in order to save time in the long lines.

Taba Crossing will be closed from June 28-27 from 20:00 for 24 hours, but it is important to note that before and after that closure the place will be open in the regular 24/7 operating format. It is also recommended to find parking spaces according to the law, as increased enforcement is expected by the Eilat Municipality for parking in the area.
If you plan to move to Sinai with your car, know that on that day only 70 vehicles will be allowed. It is also forbidden to pass with vehicles that have a front or rear camera, 4x4 vehicles or diesel vehicles.
