Irit Lahav, Ayala Geographical Director, said: "Iceland is a paradise for nature lovers, from marine animals to geological phenomena such as active volcanoes, hot springs and erupting geysers. The island has a number of evergreen glaciers, which even in the height of summer we go up to and hold attractive activities around them, such as snowmobiling."

She added: "Iceland is characterized by a large number of attractions, including whale watching cruises, climbing the cliff to see parrots, zodiac cruises in a lagoon between floating glaciers, and we also take a cruise to the Westman Islands, where you see 'Little Pompey' – a village covered by a volcano that erupted a few years ago."
