The terrorists behind the attack, Muhannad Falah, Abdallah Shehadeh and Khaled Mustafa 'Aa Latif Sabah, come from the village of 'Urif in the Samaria Brigade.
In addition, as part of the joint operation tonight, Egoz, Magellan and Border Police fighters operated under intelligence guidance from the Shin Bet to thwart terrorism in the village area.
The forces detained four wanted persons, interrogated several other suspects and searched buildings in the area. During the operation, the forces located a lathe for manufacturing weapons and destroyed it. Another wanted man was detained in the village of Tammun. The wanted persons who were arrested were transferred to our forces for further treatment, with no casualties.
Meanwhile, Defense Minister Yoav Galant instructed the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Major General Ghassan Alyan, to revoke dozens of entry and work permits in Israel for the families of the terrorists who carried out the shooting attack near Ali.
