The veteran singer published a post on Facebook asking his fans to update his fans on the treatments he is undergoing, after recently announcing that he has been diagnosed with cancer

About a month after announcing to his fans that he had cancer and would have to undergo oncological treatments, singer Adam gave an update on his medical condition Wednesday night, also thanking hundreds of people demanding his well-being and praying for his recovery.

"Right: Friday at Gray in Yehud. Left: This week in chemo and radiation," Adam, 63, wrote in a Facebook post, adding two photos: one of his happy moments appearing on stage and the other in a hospital bed as part of his chemotherapy treatments.

"Updating in response to the hundreds of messages that have arrived," he asked to explain the reason for sharing. "B"H I'm fine, so far I'm up to it, reminding myself every moment of what's really important and reminding you to fly for life," he said in ending the short post with an optimistic message, despite the difficult circumstances.

As you may recall, Adam, who was one of the most successful singers in Israel in the 80s and 90s, updated his fans about his medical condition about three weeks ago when he revealed that he had been diagnosed with cancer. "My loved ones, today I was informed that I will have to undergo a series of treatments, radiation and chemotherapy. Still struggling to digest," Adam wrote in a post on his Facebook page, explaining that he'd rather share things himself than let them leak out in other ways.

"Since I was defined as an oncology patient, there is no need for it to leak and there is no need to hide, but to deal with what will come," he added. "I will start the treatments in about a week and until then I choose to continue functioning, as long as possible and as recommended to me by the professor I met in the hospital today," he added, promising to conclude: "I will hold the upcoming show at Gray in Tel Aviv for my soul and for the love I will gather for complex days. So for now, they've only sent love."
