After a professional examination - the closed beach will open: Following the explosion incident in the Nof Yam industrial complex on Thursday, after an inquiry conducted by professional engineering officials along the cliffs, the Herzliya Municipality decided to allow the reopening of Sydney Ali Beach on Saturday.
The beach was closed due to fears of possible damage to one of the cliffs there. The circumstances of Thursday's explosion in central Israel remain unclear. It is believed that the explosion occurred in an underground warehouse of explosives at the military industrial plant in Nof Yam.

The factory was evacuated in the 90s after an explosion killed two workers. As then, on Thursday there was noise and a cloud of dust covered the area. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
