The evening and night between Thursday and Friday was full of Palestinian riots in Binyamin and Samaria • Near Ofra, at least seven vehicles were killed, and a 15-year-old woman sustained minor injuries from stone throwing • The car in which Israel Hayom reporter Yifat Erlich's husband was traveling with their son was hit directly by stones

Palestinian riots took place during the evening and night (between Thursday and Friday) in a number of locations throughout Binyamin and Samaria. As part of the series of incidents, Israeli vehicles were stoned and rocked.

A number of Israelis sustained minor injuries as a result of the stones. Among the vehicles hit were the car in which Israel Hayom reporter Yifat Erlich's husband was traveling with their son, and the car in which the brother and sister of a man seriously injured in the attack were traveling.

Of the incidents that took place, the two main focal points of the Palestinian riots in Binyamin were near Ofra, where at least seven vehicles were killed, and a 15-year-old girl sustained minor injuries from stone throwing.

Between Neve Tzuf and Atarat, on Route 465, Palestinians went on a rampage and rioted for about four hours, during which the route was blocked to Israeli travel. At the same time, between Issawiya and Ma'ale Adumim, Palestinians threw stones at Israeli vehicles, injuring one person.

Israel Hayom correspondent Yifat Erlich spoke about what happened. "A father and a 12-year-old son went to a fathers-sons evening to mark the end of elementary school. On their way home, about ten Arab terrorists ambushed them on a highway with blocks in their hands and Molotov cocktails in an attempt to beat them. Thank God and the shielding (which shattered into the car). My son and I returned home safely, as did our neighbors who were with them. We won't be broken. Thank you to the security forces who work night and night to protect our lives."

"I was supposed to get my little brother's ball"

The brother of the victim of the attack, my husband, a combat officer in the IDF, wrote an exposed post published on his mother's Facebook account, in which he addressed the difficult feeling following the stone-throwing two days after the attack. "I try not to be one of the people who talk, I try to be one of the people who do, but every once in a while you have to talk because it's inevitable," he said.

"I am a combat officer in the army, doing service in the West Bank, present at all events and in all places. Every time I jump into an attack, I work on an automaton, try to deal with catching the terrorist, and don't understand enough that at the same time as the chase, there are families whose lives have changed. Until this week, my little brother was seriously injured in my husband's attack, suddenly I'm on the family's side. We sit next to him thanking him for the miracle that he is with us, he is defined as stable but still difficult, hoping and praying that he will continue to grow stronger and get out of this safely."

"And now, after we thought that was it, we received the portion of nachas from the situation in the country, my brother (twin of the one who was injured) and my little sister now drove home from the hospital and stoned their car on Route 60. I apologize as an army officer, I was supposed to get my little brother's bullet, and I'm supposed to get the stones my younger brothers got on my army jeep. But we lost control. Painful, scary, sad, angry. Take care," he wrote.
