A cultural Friday event at the Mishan assisted living facility in Ramat Af'al was interrupted by protesters from the "Brothers in Arms" organization during a speech by MK Nissim Vaturi of the Likud. A police force arrived to evacuate the demonstrators.

As Vaturi went up to speak, before MK Matan Kahane, about ten activists, who until then had not identified themselves, rushed to change clothes and put on the shirts of the organization "Brothers in Arms" and then began a loud protest that stopped the course of the event.

The protesters accused Vaturi, as a representative of the government, of "sending soldiers to the gallows." He replied: "I came to talk to you because I thought you were the Democrats, but this is your democracy – you don't let anything."

According to the details of the incident, the protesters initially tried to enter identifiably but were refused. Later they managed to infiltrate the hall as guests of some Mishan residents. As of now, the event continues as usual with the protesters remaining inside the hall, in the presence of the police, and after the management of the place allowed them to remain and even invited you to ask questions, but under a commitment not to act violently.

At one point, MK Matan Kahane took the stage in an attempt to calm things down and allow Vaturi to continue speaking. Vaturi did not remain obliged and answered the demonstrators against him: "You do not impress me and the State of Israel will exist with or without you."
