The riots that began after the horrific attack in Ali continue: after settlers smashed windows and burned vehicles in the village of Lubban a-Sharqiya on the night between Wednesday and Tuesday, and set fire to houses in Turmus Aya last Wednesday. Now, Palestinians report Saturday that dozens of settlers damaged Palestinian property and attacked homes in the village of um Safa, northwest of Ramallah.
Marwan Sabah, head of the village council, told Palestinian media that "settlers stormed the village, attacked residents' homes and fired at them, while receiving protection from the Israeli army." He called on surrounding villages to come to um Safa to help the residents.

A PA TV cameraman claimed that "settlers fired at a team that came to the village to cover the events." He noted that there were no casualties but that the camera and broadcasting equipment were damaged. A horse belonging to one of the villagers also died.

It was also reported that a fire was set and several houses were damaged. Palestinian rescuers said firefighters were called in to control the arson and rescued a family with a baby choking on smoke. Several cars were also vandalized.
The rioters reportedly stoned an ambulance with a patient in it. The driver sustained injuries and the vehicle was damaged.
