Violence in hospitals: An indictment filed in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court against a 50-year-old Ashkelon resident indicates that he was unhappy with the treatment his mother received in the internal medicine ward at Ichilov Hospital and threatened to murder the department director and secretary.
According to the indictment, the defendant's mother was hospitalized in an internal medicine ward in Ichilov and he was dissatisfied – to say the least – with the treatment she received. One morning when the defendant was in the ward, he approached the counter behind which the secretary was sitting and shouted at her: "You whore, let me see cameras! I want you to explain to me what happened to my mother."

The secretary asked him not to shout, and in response he approached her in a threatening manner while waving his hands and shouting: "I'll kill you, I'll kill everyone, Yemenia stinks."
The head of the department also arrived and asked him to stop talking like that. In response, the defendant also approached the head of the department in a threatening manner, waving his hands and shouting: "Rag, son of a bitch, stinky Ashkenazi, I'll kill you."
The indictment attributed threats, disorderly behavior in a public place and insulting a public official. "By his actions, the defendant behaved in an unruly manner in a public place, threatening medical staff with bodily harm and insulting them in the performance of their duties."

She spat on a doctor and held the policeman in his clothes
In another case, according to another indictment filed in court, a 29-year-old resident of Bat Yam was in the NICU at Wolfson Hospital in Holon, and when one of the doctors asked her to wear a face mask several times, the defendant responded by spitting on her in the neck area. The doctor alerted the policeman stationed at the scene, and in light of the defendant's refusal to identify herself to him, the policeman informed her that she was under arrest, grabbed her hand and led her towards the police office.
The defendant responded by shouting, "Rape, he wants to rape me," and at the same time grabbed him. In response, Officer Rahamim handcuffed her and hit her hand to move her.
