Without euphemisms and still with the anger present for the surprise change of candidate at the last minute, it was the first public appearance of Cristina Kirchner after the frantic closing of lists. The vice president made no gesture of hiding her anger and aimed her hardest darts against Victoria Tolosa Paz, attacked Alberto Fernández again and marked the court to Sergio Massa, who was finally anointed as the pre-candidate for president on a unity list. As never before, CFK made proper names.

The vice president took advantage of the act of repatriation of a plane that was part of the "death flights" during the last military dictatorship to reveal the backdrops of the closing of lists last Saturday.

There was also praise and a closed defense for "Wado" of Pedro, he referred to the role of the governors, he said that he had a talk with Daniel Scioli – who finally declined his presidential aspiration – of which he did not want to give details, annoyed because it was leaked in the press, and rescued the figure of Agustín Rossi, who sought to be president with the support of Alberto Fernández.

Cristina Kirchner attributed to Alberto Fernández "the most important parliamentary defeat of democracy."

Cristina Kirchner referred to the electoral defeat in the 2021 elections which she called "the most important parliamentary defeat of the democracy of Peronism where we lost for the first time a majority and quorum in the Senate."

At that time, the first candidate for deputy for the Province of Buenos Aires, the most important district for Peronism, had been Victoria Tolosa Paz. The Minister of Social Development was repeatedly referred to negatively by the Vice President during her speech.

In turn, he pointed against Fernandez who he said "got stuck in making a STEP" to define the presidential candidacy.

Cristina Kirchner on Tolosa Paz: "Two positions, one for which he competed..."

"Until last Friday, 24 hours before the closing of the list, we had the Minister of Social Development of our government proposing internal elections to the governor of the province of Buenos Aires. And we had our ambassador in Brazil with all the right in the world, I'm talking about the consequences of this, for the president," he said.

When he counted the resolution of the list, he remarked that an agreement was reached with "two positions", in the list of Deputies. One was for the chancellor and "one for whom he competed...", Cristina slipped, with the intention of demonstrating disdain for the minister and her personal aspirations.

He said that the reversal of the candidacies of Tolosa Paz for governor and that of Scioli for the president "was resolved, giving two places to deputies."

"One for whom he competed against Axel, and another for who is now chancellor. This is the truth of the Milanese," concluded the vice president who at no time called the Minister of Social Development by name.

Cristina Kirchner on Daniel Scioli: "Not even with a 45 in my head did they make me talk to him to lower his candidacy"

In turn, he said that some people suggested that he talk to Scioli to lower his candidacy. "Not even with a 45 in my head did they make me talk to anyone either to go up or down," he revealed and argued in that sense that he respects "deeply the decisions of each person."

He added that "you can't force people to do something they don't want to do or go somewhere they don't want to," because he suggested "it's the responsibility of every leader."

He also said that on Sunday night he had a telephone conversation with Scioli and said that they were always united by "a relationship of mutual respect."

However, he refused to provide details of what was discussed because "some things were published in the newspapers," implying that the ambassador could have leaked some information from the dialogue.

Cristina Kirchner said that Wado de Pedro was her candidate for the PASO: "It's obvious, he wasn't going to have the approval of the President, don't worry..."

The vice president said that she told Massa, before the closing of the lists, that he could be a candidate "if there is a unity list, supported by governors, mayors." But he clarified: "If there is PASO, our force will go with its own candidate, it will go with Wado de Pedro who was our candidate if there had been PASO."

In that offer, he stressed that Massa and the governors were in agreement. The only one who was not Alberto Fernández. "It's obvious... Wado de Pedro was not going to have the approval of the President," Kirchner said and, looking at the minister, added sharply: "Don't worry..."

Next, the vice president highlighted the "values", "conviction" and "belonging to a collective project" of the Minister of the Interior. And he sweetened it by saying that "very few" leaders would have had what he highlighted as a gesture of generosity to their political space.

"

That the governors didn't want it, that's not true. The governors wanted a unity list, with the consensus of the President of the Nation, president of the party, and all of us who make up the front. It is obvious that in order to reach that consensus and the approval of the President... Wado de Pedro was not going to have the approval of the president," he said.

And he read a message left by a governor on his phone, of whom he did not provide the name, which stated that if a formula of unity was not reached they would support the candidacy of "Wado" of Pedro in a PASO.

Cristina Kirchner marked the court to Sergio Massa: "Hello, how are you, Phone for the minister ..."

The vice president said that she read a note about the IMF in a news portal prior to the event at the Aeroparque where it was argued that for the agency "the increase in increases in companies explains much of the recent inflation."

He then involved Massa in the journalistic episode. "Hello, how are you. Telephone for the minister. For the minister and candidate, for you," said the vice president, who seemed to remind her new candidate for president that he will now have to deal with these issues.

Cristina revealed that it was Máximo who suggested Agustín Rossi as a candidate for vice president.

The vice president seemed to deny the reports of the weekend, which maintained that she had negotiated with Alberto Fernández the candidacy for vice president of Agustín Rossi, a leader who has remained closer to the president in recent times.

He said his son had spoken with the current chief of staff, who had already declined his presidential aspiration. "I tell this because Augustine himself told it. Thank you, Agustín, for the sincerity and for telling things as they are, it is an important value for me, very very important, thank you," said the vice president.

And he revealed that it was his son who said 'Let Augustine go'. "Yes, the bad guy, the one from La Cámpora... Yes, this is Peronism," he concluded.
