"Will they preach morality to us?": Settlement Minister Orit Struk spoke out strongly Monday morning against the heads of the defense establishment during an interview she conducted with Adamker and Israel Cohen on Kol Barama radio
"The chief of staff, the police commissioner and the head of the Shin Bet issued a joint statement on Jewish nationalist terrorism. Who are you, Wagner Force? Who are you to make such a statement under the government's nose? Will they preach morality to us?! I am against these events, but it is a shame and a disgrace to call it nationalist terrorism."
The minister added: "The community of Ateret is inhabited by the most normative people, the reality on the way there last weekend was intolerable, there were attacks against the community by people from the adjacent village. The IDF's response was minor, they made do with dispersing the riots and not arresting them, which they did three days later to the Jews in Ataret."
As noted, her harsh remarks come after IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar and Police Commissioner RNZ Kobi Shabtai issued a joint statement last Saturday in the background of the riots by the settlers in Judea and Samaria.

"In recent days, violent attacks have been carried out in Judea and Samaria by Israeli civilians against innocent Palestinians. These attacks go against every moral and Jewish value and are also nationalist terrorism in every respect, and we are committed to fighting them. The security forces act against these rioters, risking the lives of the security forces. This violence increases Palestinian terrorism, harms the State of Israel, and the international legitimacy of the security forces to fight terrorism and diverts the forces from their main mission," the heads of the defense forces said.
