Bezalel Smotrich, himself a minister in the Defense Ministry, attacked the security services with serious accusations. At the memorial meeting for Rabin's assassination on 06.11.22, Smotrich said that "those who failed to protect Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin are not the rightists and religious Zionists and the settlers, but the security services that not only failed to protect him but also used irresponsible manipulations, which until now have not been fully exposed, in order to encourage the murderer to carry out his plot."
