Washington reportedly warned the Europeans shortly before the weekend of an imminent action against the Kremlin led by the head of the Wagner militia, Yevgeny Prigozhin. At least that's what several sources in Brussels said on Monday. The information was reportedly conveyed by National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan during the preparation of the meeting on peace in Ukraine, which took place Saturday in Denmark.
Whether the Europeans were warned or not, whether they themselves anticipated Russian events in the light of Prigozhin's statements does not change the case. They are very worried about the consequences of the coup de force of the boss of the Russian mercenary group on the war in Ukraine, on security in Europe but also in Africa where Wagner never stops weaving his web.
