True heroine: Singer Sivan Gil Ganon, who lost her husband Maor Ganon more than 12 years ago in the Carmel disaster and also participated in the singing reality show "Eyal Golan Calls You", today (Monday) shared the great upheaval in her personal life that turned upside down again, when she discovered a little less than a year ago that she had cancer. Just before she will perform and sing today at the President's House, Gil Gannon wrote a chilling and moving post to her thousands of Instagram followers in which she shared the difficult challenges and suffering forced on her as a result of the disease.

"Thank you, G-d. Thank you for the kindness and miracle you have done with me," Gil Gannon wrote underneath a photo of her lying in her sick bed connected to multiple devices. "11 months ago I discovered what fear of death is, and I experienced hell on earth. Four months of hospitalization, cancer, difficult treatments, a wheelchair from which I never thought I would get up, a walker and crutches, rehabilitation and recovery of mind and body," she recalled the hardships and anguish she faced during the long months of struggle.

"I'm still in the process of digesting the period. I learned to walk in every sense of the word," she stressed. "Many moments of song and joy were in the midst of the difficulty and tears, but today is a special climax that officially symbolizes for me a return to life: this stage at the President's House, the stage I love so much and get to sing again today. Thank you, Heavenly Father. I thank you for restoring my soul in me with great compassion your faith," she concluded. It should be noted that Sivan attached another, much more optimistic photo to the post in which she was photographed standing on her feet at the president's residence.

In response to Israel Hayom, Gil Gannon clarified: "So yes, I recovered! Thank God. Thank you to the amazing medical teams who treated me with dedication and thank you to my family and friends who did not leave me for a moment."
