A 67-year-old man drowned on Tuesday at Dor Beach and was found on an island in the sea with no signs of life. MDA medics were forced to pronounce him dead. An MDA paramedic said: "We received a call about a man who was freckled unconscious from the sea at Dor Beach. When we got there, we realized that he wasn't on the beach, but that the civilians had located him in the sea and pulled him to the island. Using a boat brought to us by one of the kibbutz residents, we were taken to the island with all the medical equipment, where we saw the man unconscious and without signs of life, and we had to pronounce him dead. We put the drowning man on the boat and rescued him to shore."

Earlier today, a 12-year-old boy was pulled unconscious from the water at a public pool in Emmanuel. MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and performed CPR. After his pulse returned, he was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
About two months ago, a one-and-a-half-year-old toddler drowned to death in a private pool in a house in the community of Be'er Ganim. MDA paramedic Noa Abitbol said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the toddler in the front yard, without a pulse and without breathing, and performing CPR on him. We were told he was knocked out of the pool unconscious."
