Four months after Nicole Raidman was appointed honorary consulate of Albania in Israel, and three days before the official ceremony, a letter was sent unexpectedly announcing the cancellation of her appointment. The decision letter did not explain or explain.
After an investigation by the parties involved, the suspicion arises that the cancellation document sent by an unofficial source of the Albanian Foreign Ministry is not known to senior officials in the country, nor to the country's prime minister.
Recall that the appointment was made according to a decision and request of the Albanian government, who approached Raidman in November 2022 and who received her consent.
The appointment was approved by all the officials in Israel and Albania, and following the letter sent, the process was not completed, the event was postponed and the issue is clear to all parties involved in both countries.
Sources involved in the incident believe that it was a deliberate act by someone who desires the job. Raidman declined to comment on the report.
