The IDF on Tuesday defined the launch of the two rockets from the Jenin area as a "TikTok propaganda test." An examination by the defense establishment revealed that the rockets flew to a range of 97 meters without explosives. However, it is not yet clear who was responsible for the two launches, while Hamas has denied the incident.
Yesterday, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy spoke with the brigade commanders in the Central Command to hear how they perceive what is happening in Judea and Samaria. The brigade commanders defined settler violence as a "very, very serious phenomenon" and pointed to very difficult incidents they face, both personally and operationally.

The senior officers explained that in such incidents a large number of soldiers are needed. In addition, they said, such incidents cannot be stopped without senior commanders in advance without senior commanders in front, due to the dilemma created in dealing with Israeli civilians. The brigade commanders assessed that the violent incidents could lead to escalation.
Meanwhile, Israeli President Isaac Herzog spoke today with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and strongly condemned the attacks on innocent Palestinians in recent days. "In their conversation, Herzog emphasized the importance of the decisive and firm struggle against terrorism, incitement and hatred, and the terrible price and pain that terrorism exacts from bereaved families and Israeli society as a whole," the president said in a statement.
Earlier, Defense Minister Yoav Galant spoke with Palestinian Authority Minister of Civil Affairs Hussein al-Sheikh. The two discussed the recent increase in terrorist attacks, and insisted on the common need to calm the situation on the ground for the benefit of the Israeli and Palestinian populations in Judea and Samaria.
