Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with members of the US Congress on Tuesday and informed them that he had been invited to visit China. The planned visit will be Prime Minister Netanyahu's fourth visit to China, and the US administration was informed about this a month ago.
Prime Minister Netanyahu made it clear to members of Congress that security and intelligence cooperation between the United States and Israel is at an all-time high, and stressed that the United States will always be Israel's vital, irreplaceable ally.

The visit to China comes against the backdrop that Netanyahu's longing invitation to visit the White House is too bad to come. In March, US President Joe Biden said: "Like many supporters of Israel, I am very concerned [about legal reform]. I'm worried they're not doing it right, you can't continue like this in the same way," Biden said. "I've made that clear." He added that he does not intend to host Netanyahu "in the near future."

Biden made the remarks after being asked by journalists accompanying him about the possibility of inviting Netanyahu, just before boarding his presidential plane with the exclamation point "Air Force One." He later added that he hoped Netanyahu would "withdraw from the reform."
