Roseanne Barr is in trouble again: About 4 years after her racist tweet against an aide to President Barack Obama led to the cancellation of her famous sitcom, the comedian said a few days ago that "no one died in the Holocaust" in an interview with podcaster and comedian Theo Vaughn.

When the two discussed "cancel culture" in the American public, which she said is influenced too much by political correctness, she said there were things that should not be said, "such as that the [2020] election was biased" and then gave an example, in a sarcastic tone that demonstrates why the election results should be questioned. "It's crystal clear that thirty-six constituencies can give you 81 million votes," she said, referring to allegations of fraud by Republican supporters who believe Joe Biden did not win.
Barr continued along the same lines: "If you say something against it, you're removed from YouTube and Facebook, because there's truth and facts and we all have to stick to them." At this point, perhaps jokingly or as an attempt to create a provocation, she said, "And no one died in the Holocaust." She added: "But it has to happen. Six million Jews have to die now, because they are causing all the problems in the world."
Barr, who has Jewish ancestry, was joking throughout the interview and may have meant it as a joke. The rest of the conversation actually praised the fact that "the Jews control Hollywood" because otherwise "all the plans would be about fishing."
The Anti-Defamation League said in response, "Even if it is sarcastic, Barr's comments about Jews and the Holocaust are repulsive and irresponsible. It's not funny, and it's a shame that Theo Wen allows her to do so without confronting her and instead dives into conspiracy theories about Jews and Hollywood."
