The hospitalization of Silvina Luna surprised everyone in the last hours and reopened once again the debate on aesthetic treatments and surgeries to which many women undergo daily. But how was the intervention that Aníbal Lotocki made to the model more than 12 years ago and triggered this dramatic situation?
According to Silvina herself in several media, in 2011, the aforementioned surgeon injected methacrylate into her buttocks and, two years later, she was diagnosed with kidney stones.
"I am under observation for renal colic. Journalists who invent things should be informed. To those who care, I'm fine!!", tweeted in 2014 the former model, actress, DJ and influencer, in an attempt to get the questioned doctor out of the way.
However, some time later, Silvina recognized the ordeal she was living as a consequence of that intervention in the hands of Lotocki, denounced it in Justice and even traveled to the United States to undergo a new operation with the aim of getting rid of the methacrylate she had in her body.

But that poisoning he suffered, product of the aforementioned substance that entered his bloodstream, caused a chronic picture of hypercalcemia (high level of calcium) and kidney failure.
That diagnosis led to a report from her doctors alerting her to the need to perform a kidney transplant that never became effective because of a bacterium that entered her body and that is why they began to perform dialysis.
"It came out like a ball in my skin, in my knee. They investigated it and it was a mycobacterium, which are quite resistant and you have to do a very long treatment, many months, "explained Silvina in a recent interview for La peña de Morfi (Telefe, Sundays at 11.30).
And, confident that the transplant will come, she added: "I continue with medication to kill the bacteria and there I would just enter the waiting list of INCUCAI and they would do the studies."

"It's good to talk about this because there are a lot of girls on the other side wanting to do something in the body and I already said that many years I put Botox, fillers, and now a year ago I said 'I'm not going to wear anything anymore', Silvina said in her last interview with LAM (America, Monday to Friday at 20).
"I see that they are all in the same, and more and more and more girls. Look at its beauty. Why want another face? It happened to me that I didn't believe myself enough. That's why I was also silent for a long time, because I was embarrassed to talk about this. And he recalled: "As a result of the aesthetic intervention they did 13 years ago, I began to have hypocalcemia. For many years I had to do laboratory tests every two weeks and when my calcium went up a lot, I was hospitalized for three days. As it was only a few days, I went alone to hospitalize and did not tell anyone. Afterwards, I learned to ask for help."
"Until now I took corticosteroids, but some time ago, I spent a month hospitalized, they did many studies and a kidney biopsy that resulted in my kidneys being calcified. So, I had to start dialysis: I didn't expect that to happen so quickly."
