An unusual incident occurred recently on a German Lufthansa flight en route from Munich to Sofia, Bulgaria, when a 27-year-old woman undressed and ran naked down the aisles.
Following the incident, which took place while the plane was still on the ground, the pilot returned with the plane to the departure gate, where police officers were waiting for the woman to arrest her. Officers boarded the plane trying to grab the young woman and cover her body with a blanket, but she resisted the police team, went berserk — and even bit a member of the security team, who needed medical attention, according to a Munich police spokeswoman.

Eventually, the police managed to catch the raging woman, took her off the plane – and the flight departed after a delay of about three hours. The young woman herself was referred for a psychiatric examination and charged with a series of charges, including resisting law enforcement, assault and physical harm.
In the local media, various sources criticized the conduct of the police, because the conduct of the officers was sensitive and delicate. "Police officers need to stop behaving so gently in these situations, because this is a real threat to them and the passengers on the flight. In the first place, they should have used force. I hope the policeman who was bitten doesn't develop infections," said a media source covering the case.
