The car of the partner of one of the complainants of L-Ghent was set on fire and by the fact they suspect the environment of the singer of "cumbia 420". The fire occurred in the Del Bicentenario neighborhood of General Rodriguez on Wednesday night.
"Last night at 21.30 a car plotted with the term "Mafilia" passed, with which the relatives Elián Valenzuela, the real name of L-Ghent, are identified. A person leaned on the vehicle and after a while it burned," lawyer Leonardo Sigal, who represents Gastón Torres, one of the victims of the act for which Valenzuela is imprisoned, told Clarín.
As a result of the fire, the car was totally destroyed. Although Torres' couple used it, it was from the Municipality of General Rodríguez since she used it to work as a photographer. The flames were recorded by cell phones of different neighbors on the block.
The car belonged to the Municipality of General Rodríguez.
For Sigal, the fire was a clear threat after he confirmed that he was going to appeal the extraordinary release in favor of singer Valenzuela. And one of the grounds of the appeal, filed this Thursday morning, was this incident.
"On Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 22:09 p.m. we have been notified by the victim that his assigned motor vehicle was set on fire by the Mafilia at the door of his house (where he still has no police custody), turning the behavior of those into a violent one, since until now they only threatened through social networks or knocked on the door of that one, "says the appeal.
But not only the lawyers of the complainant for illegitimate deprivation of liberty and threats appealed but also the prosecutor in charge of the investigation Raúl Villalba, who replaced Alejandra Rodríguez.
