It's never easy to be betrayed, especially when the woman who cheats does it with someone close to you, even more so if it's about ... Your father. That's exactly what happened to Declan Fuller, 22, who married Stephanie his age and also brought Willow, now two, with her. But last September, 44-year-old Darren, Declan's father, moved into their home in England to live with them for some reason.
It turns out that this was a fatal mistake for their relationship, because Darren was having an affair with Stephanie behind the back of an angry Declan. "It's sick, how can my dad do such a thing to me?" grumbled Declan in an interview with The Sun.
How did he find out?
Declan said he was at work when one day he decided to check Willow's baby monitor connected to his smartphone. But in the video that opened in front of him, he noticed his father's bedroom door and Stephanie sneaking in for an afternoon quickie.
Declan was shocked by this betrayal and admitted that he had gone into murderous mode: "If I didn't have a sensible head on my shoulders he [Darren] would be underground now." When Declan presented them with his evidence, Stephanie and Darren denied that they had done anything wrong.
Instead, the two claimed that they were simply in the bedroom together to watch The Simpsons. This argument did not convince Declan, who immediately decided to break up with his cheating girlfriend. But that's not all. Stephanie, who denied the infidelity, informed Lenny about two weeks that she was now carrying twins from her former mother-in-law, Darren.
"I feel betrayed, but I'm better off without them. I'll get on with my life," he said, continuing, "I'm sorry for these babies, they're coming to a very complicated family." Declan probably meant that the twins would be his half-brothers and his daughter's brothers, but so would her uncles and Darren be both Willow's grandfather and stepfather.
Stephanie herself insisted she had not cheated on her husband, telling The Sun: "I didn't cheat on Declan. His father and I didn't start dating until about a week after he left me."
