A soldier at the Kirya base in Tel Aviv was filmed on Saturday throwing stones at demonstrators protesting the legal reform on Kaplan Street.

Following the report, an investigation was conducted and the soldier was located. The soldier was tried in a disciplinary case by the commander of the Kirya's security unit, confessed to the deeds and was sentenced to 30 days of bandage.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators demonstrated across the country yesterday for the 26th week. In Haifa, about ten thousand people demonstrated in the center of Horev in the city, and one demonstrator carrying a PLO flag was arrested. In Tel Aviv, demonstrators gathered at the Kaplan junction, when Ayalon South was briefly blocked to traffic by protesters and two protesters were arrested.
