Turkey's security service, MIT, has uncovered a squad of 56 Mossad agents, Turkish news network Sabah reported on Monday.
The news network claimed that nine small cells operating in various cities across the country were located using a combination of "military and technological means" and, unusually, published the names of seven residents of the country who confessed to spying for Israeli intelligence.
According to the report, the Mossad selected people with intelligence and surveillance skills and provided them with advanced training outside the country. Photos of the men who confessed to espionage were published by the Turkish security service.
The news network called the alleged network a "ghost net" and tied crowns to the capabilities of the state security service, which it claimed had thwarted recent Iranian and Russian intelligence operations.
