A demonstration against the legal revolution is taking place at Ben Gurion Airport on Monday. This coincided with the IDF operation in Jenin, to which the organizers referred and claimed that while IDF fighters are fighting for security, "we will make sure that they have a democratic state to live in."

Protesters began gathering on the ground floor of the port, where some sat on the floor, refusing to obey police orders and evacuate. Later, they were pushed out by the troops. At this time, they are blocking the road leading to the entrance to the passenger hall. The police are trying to evacuate them.

"We arrived a long time before the flight to Ben Gurion Airport, we were 5 hours early," he told Walla! A couple from Rishon LeZion who flew to New York today. The flight was at 21:00 and we arrived at 16:00 because we were afraid of the blocked roads. The anarchists are making a mess and we, the normal people, have to suffer? Let them stand off the road and not disturb all passengers. We are flying because my father is very ill, with Parkinson's at the age of 88, how can I be late for the flight? Not everyone flies just to have a good time."

A protest is also taking place at the Yokneam junction, where demonstrators light flares.

Before it began, and following the announcement by Constitution Committee Chairman Simcha Rotman, who claimed that he would raise the cancellation of the reasonableness grounds this week, the organizers of the protest responded by claiming that "while IDF soldiers risk their lives to protect Jewish and democratic Israel, Rotman is trying to crush the law that protects them. The religion NCO harms not only Israeli democracy but Israel's security. We call on the general public to join the demonstration of democracy tonight at Ben Gurion Airport. The dictatorship must be stopped."

They added that "a clear and sharp message must be sent to the government: If you try to pass the dictatorship, we will know, like in the first round, to paralyze the country and stop the legislation." Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman also addressed the protest, claiming that "the danger to national resilience is the legislation in the Knesset, and to bring the most controversial laws to a vote today. We need to focus on Netanyahu and the other ministers, but not harm civilians."

In a briefing held earlier by Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai, he referred to the planned demonstration and claimed that "we are obligated to keep our finger on the pulse. I emphasize the policy, we allow legitimate protest by law and we will act with equality and discretion according to its characteristics. If there is an irregularity such as vandalism, damage to infrastructure and harm to police officers, zero tolerance must be taken. On blocking a route as part of the protest, I ask for swift action with the appropriate forces. There is no legitimacy for blocking the gates of Ben Gurion Airport in any way," he said.
