He has worked for the National Theatre, the Royal Court and the Royal Shakespeare Company. In An Oak Tree, first presented in France, Crouch tells the story of a father who lost his daughter. He continues to perceive his presence through... a tree. A metamorphosis that he lives by inviting each evening a performer to slip into the role of the father. Truth's a Dog Must to Kennel - translate as: "To the doghouse, of truth!": a single-in-scene in which Crouch thinks he is crazy, that of King Lear who would wonder what has become of the theater since the pandemic, the lockdowns, the generalized digitalization. Is living art in mortal danger? Isn't it okay?
