The Trade Association of Subway and Premetro Workers (Metrodelegados) announced a new day of rotating strikes on all subway lines for next Wednesday, July 5.
The strike was called within the framework of the so-called "self-defense measures" that the union has been taking over the last few months with the aim of "reducing the working week" to "be less exposed to carcinogenic asbestos."
The schedule of stoppages will be:
- 5.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. - Lines E and Premetro
- 10 to 14.30 - Lines A and B
- 14.30 to 19 hours - Lines D and C
- 19 hours until closing - Line H
