Hundreds of doctors in the reserves, who are protesting against the legal revolution, are demanding that the Second Authority punish broadcaster Avi Ratzon and the station where he broadcasts, Israel Radio, for comparing them to doctors who collaborated with the authorities in Nazi Germany and Stalin's Soviet Union.
In a letter sent by doctors serving in the reserves to the defense minister, 300 doctors announced that as long as the government continues to advance the legal reform, they will not be able to continue volunteering for reserve service.
Two days after the publication, broadcaster Avi Ratzon referred to the letter as part of his program "Avi Ratzon in the Morning" on Israel Radio, saying there, among other things: "We wanted to remind you, apropos of the letters of the writers and doctors, that they, the doctors and writers, were the first to sign letters of support for Hitler... The same things were with the doctors and writers of Stalin's Russia."

In a letter of complaint sent by the doctors to the Second Authority, they write, among other things: "Mr. Ratzon's remarks are defamatory and constitute a violation of the Second Authority Law and the rules of the Second Authority. The comparison is intended to humiliate them in the eyes of the listening public and make them a target for hatred and contempt, to damage their good name and honor."
"The freedom of expression of Mr. Ratzon and of Israel Radio is not unlimited," they claim. "Journalists and media outlets are not allowed to exploit the platform given to them for populist, wild and offensive attacks under the guise of personal opinion."
The doctors demand that the Second Authority initiate an investigation against the will and against Israel Radio, and impose a fine on Israel Radio.
