Chief-of-Staff: "There Will Be No Safe Place for Terrorists"

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevy spoke at the change of commander of the Depth Command held earlier today at the Kirya and said: "Jenin has become a city of refuge for terrorists, with an emphasis on the refugee camp, and we are ending this with the current operation. Thanks to the fact that we hit terrorists, we arrested many and destroyed a large quantity of weapons infrastructure, the one that harms both Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers. We will know how to enter wherever we want, when we need it and when we choose. There will be no safe place for terrorists - and whoever escaped today we will make sure to find him tomorrow."

Halevy added: "I met yesterday and today the forces in the field, youth and adults, regular and reserve, who come full of motivation and a desire to do very professionally in a very impressive way."
