Police officers from the National Unit for the Investigation of Prison Guards at Lahav 433 arrested a 35-year-old prison guard from Kisra from Dekel Prison on Monday on suspicion of selling drugs and mobile phones to prisoners in exchange for money. The suspect was taken to the unit's offices for interrogation, at the end of which he was released to house arrest under restrictive conditions for five days.

MB Lahav 433 police opened an investigation following the activity initiated by officers of the Information Security Branch of the Prison Service's Intelligence Division, which led to a prison guard suspected of selling drugs and mobile phones to prisoners on several occasions in exchange for money.
It also emerged that during a search of the suspect's home in the village of Kisra, substances suspected of being drugs of various types were found: hashish weighing about 500 grams and 66 pink-colored pills, and another substance suspected of being a drug.
