It happened during the early hours of Sunday in the town of San Pedro. 'I didn't leave, they beat me up,' the driver defended himself.

A man in an apparent state of intoxication ran over two young men who were crossing the street with his car. And although the father of one of the victims had reported that the driver had escaped and abandoned them, a video shows that the driver was forcibly removed from his car and that he was attacked with blows by at least two men, who then robbed him.

The incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday, in the town of San Pedro. There, in the America neighborhood, a Toyota Corolla rammed two teenagers who were crossing the street in the direction of September 11.

The first versions of the father of one of the girls said that the man who ran them over "was violently drunk", and that after insulting them "fled on foot", leaving the car in the place that caused the accident.

With the passing of the hours, Jorge Biagini, the man involved, turned himself in to the Prosecutor's Office and there he told his version of the facts and provided a revealing video. "I didn't leave, they beat me up and robbed me," he said at the police station.

"I'm a remisero, but I wasn't working that night. I left the bar and it is true that I had taken too much. I got in the car and when I turn on that street, I run into the girls," Biagini said.

In dialogue with the media La Opinión, the remisero continued with his version. "The truth is that I do not see that I run them over, I do notice that the glass breaks, I never saw the girl who ran her over," he continued.

After running over the girls, Biagini recalled. "When I brake, the doors are unlocked, and a person gets into me on the passenger side and takes my car keys. When I get off to ask him to give it back to me, I see one of the girls crying in the middle of the street," he continued.

"

Then I don't remember anymore. Everything was erased from me. Because I feel blows to my face, to my head. I don't know what happened. I also don't know how much I fainted," the remisero said.

After the hit with the car, one of the girls was taken to the local hospital. He was kept under observation.

Meanwhile, in the video taken by the security cameras, you can see the Toyota ramming two girls, and then described it. That a young man approaches from the passenger side and gets out of the vehicle. And then the driver getting off.

It is seen that there is an argument in the street, and that a couple of young people assault the driver of the Toyota who is lying on the ground.

In the complaint, Biagini said that his wallet and cell phone were stolen.
