Rodriguez was recording an expedition with his camera on July 11 when his kayak capsized and he fell into the water. The vessel was located, but no one was on board.
"The footage shows that the kayak capsized by a strong current coming from the glacier," police spokesman Tim DeSpain said in an email. The helmet with the camera was found on the shore of the lake, according to the spokesman.
