Approaching Noa Kirel and dancing to the sounds of "Unicorn": The Travels of the "Stranger Things" star in Israel | Israel Hayom

Highlights: Noah Schnapp, star of the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things," has been spending the last few days in Israel. According to online documentation, he has almost managed to earn the title of "honorary Israeli" not only because he survives the crazy heat wave, but because he follows Noa Kirel on Instagram and she gave him back. Schnapp (18), a Jew, visits Israel together with his college friends, as they pass every tourist's basic training and check off the obvious attractions.

If all this is not enough to arouse butterflies of excitement, then yesterday (Wednesday) he was also documented in the story of his good friend and one of his hosts in the Holy Land, Moti Ankari, dancing in the club to the tune of Noa's Eurovision hit "Unicorn" and looking very happy.

While Knapp often shares his exploits with his 26.3 million Instagram followers, this visit seems to downplay his presence in Israel, with his documentation mostly coming from his hosts' Instagram accounts. Even when Schnapp had already uploaded documentation from his account (such as the visit to the Western Wall), he quickly removed it, and the assumption is that like many celebrities before him who visited Israel, Schnapp also apparently experienced an attack by anti-Israeli elements and therefore prefers not to directly publicize his experiences from the visit.

This is not the first time Schnapp has visited Israel. In 2019, he came here with his family and even documented the visit with an amusing post from the Dead Sea in which he was photographed smeared with mud and wrote: "This mud smells like tacos." Not surprisingly, the same post was flooded with comments from pro-Palestinian web surfers, which is probably why he chose to downplay the documentation this time.
