Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Sunday referred to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's medical procedure, in which a pacemaker was successfully implanted. The Iranian spokesman claimed that "the crisis at the heart of the Zionist entity is deeper than the crisis at the heart of its prime minister."
Meanwhile, the Arab world also addressed recent events in Israel, especially the announcement by hundreds of reservists that they would stop volunteering following the promotion of the legal reform. Security analyst Wasaf Erekat said in an interview with the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Mayadeen network that "disobedience and rebellion in the Israeli army are negative elements and the army will never be able to recover from them until many years later."

At the same time, the chairman of Hezbollah's bloc in the Lebanese parliament, Mohammed Raad, was quoted in the Arab media as saying that Israel was in a "state of weakness." He clarified: "Now Israel is required to evacuate what surrounds the northern part of the Lebanese village of Rajar and must withdraw. This will never pass in the silence of the resistance (Hezbollah). Israel must withdraw from all our lands in Lebanon. The points of contention on the blue line need to end. Our borders do not need land border drawing. They have been drawn since Lebanon's independence and need no agreement, no understanding and no measurements. Our borders are recognized by the United Nations."

A senior Hezbollah official added: "This occupation bombed the capitals of the Arab countries without regard for anyone and without regard for UN conventions and international law. He bombed the reactor in Iraq to eliminate any possibility of force buildup – even for scientific development or military production. But today he cannot force the resistance [Hezbollah] to remove a tent on the border with Palestine."
