Accordingly, on Saturday, July 22, around 22:30 p.m., there was a bloody confrontation in a restaurant on Sonnenstraße. A 55-year-old from the district of Ebersberg, who was present in the restaurant, was suddenly attacked with a knife by a 53-year-old man from the same district. The attacker suddenly stabbed the 55-year-old. "After that, the 53-year-old inflicted injuries on himself with the knife," the police continued.
Witnesses intervened courageously and were able to take the knife from the perpetrator. They then alerted the emergency services. The Munich police and the ambulance service immediately rushed to the restaurant.

Both injured were taken to nearby hospitals. "Extensive forensic measures have been carried out on site and several witnesses have already been heard. KIT forces were also on site to support the witnesses," the press release continues.
