Jesica Marilén García (26) always dreamed of being a gendarme. With great effort, he worked to be able to study and enter the force. With his parents and five siblings, he left San Ramón de la Nueva Orán, in Salta, to go to Pirané, Formosa, where he met Leonardo Luis Giménez (28) and at the end of 2013 they began a relationship.
The couple moved to Bella Vista, San Miguel, northwest of Greater Buenos Aires. There they lived with their 7-year-old son, the boy who ended up being the only witness of the horror: the femicide of his mother and the suicide of his father.

I love you very much, but sometimes it makes me want to...", was the message that Giménez chose for the birthday cake he gave her on June 13. Underneath, he put a meme of one person strangling another, next to scarlets of hearts.

Everyone took it as a joke. Except him. From what they believe, he was already planning to murder his partner in the house they rented a year and a half ago at 500 Gorosito Street.
"She always wanted to be a gendarme, she was a girl who managed to get where she wanted. She worked as a housewife, selling clothes and studied to be a gendarme. And now a son of a bitch took his life," said one of his brothers, Sebastián Cisneros (32).
It was another sister, Ayelén (20), who found her dead of a bullet in the temple last Monday, at nine in the morning. She took care of her nephew when the parents worked (the man was a bricklayer).

As soon as he opened the door, he saw the boy in shock. The bodies of García and Giménez were found on the matrimonial bed in the bedroom. On the ground was the Pietro Beretta 9 mm pistol that had been issued to him by the Gendarmerie.
A neighbor called 911. Ayelén told the police that her sister was in the process of separation and that she suffered gender violence, that he was very jealous and harassed her permanently.
According to what investigators reconstructed, the man murdered Jesica in bed during the early hours of Monday. Then he lay down beside her, hugged her, and shot himself in the head.

"It's a void that no one is ever going to fill. He has no forgiveness from God for what he did. He already had it planned, he didn't have his pants on to stay alive and face things. He was a coward, if the relationship was no more, why didn't he let her live?"
The young man confirmed that the femicide "had given her that cake on June 13" and "she put it on her Instagram." In addition, he noted that Gimenez "deleted all his social networks before doing what he did."
In addition, the man who rented the house and lived on the adjacent property told C5N that he had "never" heard "arguments" and that it "seemed like a normal marriage.

According to Clarín, the young woman worked in the Northern Citizen Security Squadron of the Gendarmerie. He had been in this federal security force for two years and three months.

After the judicial and police intervention, the couple's son was assisted by psychologists from the interdisciplinary office Comisaría de la Mujer and was placed in the custody of his aunt.
