Serious incident in the Menashe Regional Brigade: A logistics officer of the Golani Patrol was documented sitting on top of a container lowered by crane from a truck, despite the great risk, and only a week after her officer was run over to death by a truck in Tze'elim. The soldier is apparently expected to be tried today.
Last week, Lieutenant Leader Peretz, a logistics officer from the 7th Armored Brigade, was killed. The investigation revealed that she was apparently run over, and not crushed as initially thought.

It is suspected that a passing vehicle collided with a truck with the crane that was lifting a container, which fell on it and crushed it to death.
It turns out that despite the immense danger and the terrible tragedy, only a week after the disaster, there are those who do not learn from the event. Yesterday (Tuesday), lines were transferred between a paratroopers unit operating in the Menashe Regional Brigade and the Golani unit.
During the container transport, a logistics officer was filmed sitting on top of a container, while she was lowered from a semi-trailer truck using a crane.
The IDF said: "During an operational change of employment yesterday, an officer violated safety procedures and sat on a container as it was hoisted. In light of the case, the officer will be tried and the unit's safety procedures will be sharpened. The IDF views these incidents with severity and will continue to act to prevent them."
