Last Saturday evening in Melun (Seine-et-Marne), a man was found in a state of shock in his apartment by police officers. Shortly before, officials had been alerted by a witness from the residence to the presence of several individuals pulling a person out of the trunk of a car. These suspects, still on the run to this day according to a judicial source, would have tried to kidnap and extort this motorist with whom he had just had a road accident.
According to TF1, which reports the information, the victim was circulating in the evening in his car in the streets of Melun when she hung with a motocross. Quickly, several people approached the scene and attacked the motorist, ordering him to reimburse the damage caused to the motorcycle. Faced with his refusal to pay the sum, the driver was beaten, locked in the trunk of a car and taken to his home by his captors. Once there, they then tried to extort money from him, without success. They then quickly fled, leaving their victim at home.
Contacted by Le Figaro, the Melun prosecutor's office confirmed that an investigation had been opened and entrusted to the judicial police to identify the perpetrators of this kidnapping.
